ya Oz, i'm giving it a wide berth for now....maiden's good standing with me shall not be corrupted by potential shab for the sake any 'novelty'
if its worthy, it will find me eventually :)
needless to say, the last one didn't....and i've never gotten through even half a tune that had that outright fvcking hack called Bayley squawking on it

I like Blaze personally. Took me a while, but I eventually got into his stuff. I don't think he was really right for Maiden in general, but the music they did with him was fine for what it was. Bayley is better off as a solo performer in my opinion.
There was a few songs on MOLAD that I liked, but overall I found it way too long and frankly boring.

I got the album the day it came out. Mainly, I was just getting kataklysm and trigger the bloodshed so picked maiden as well. I have a good system in my car and do most of the criticism there. Well... it still sounds like maiden, but far from their best. Bruce still sounds good. More melodic than the rest. Overall, id middle the roa# on this album. Too lengthy though.
I agree with OZ on bayley. Personally id rather listen to eluveitie which I am right now
