Sleep Announces First Tour Dates To Take Place Since 1997 Split

Iconic doom metallers Sleep, featuring High On Fire's Matt Pike, have just announced a batch of new tour dates. The concerts, which are to be the first taking place in the U.S in over twelve years, are taking place at various locations across America.

Currently announced dates include:
September 3 – Monticello, NY@ All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival 2010
September 7 - Philadelphia, PA @ Starlight Ballroom
September 8 – Brooklyn, NY @ Brooklyn Masonic Temple
September 9 – Chicago, IL@ Logan Square Auditorium
September 10 – Austin, TX @ Mohawk
September 11 – Portland, OR @ Roseland Theater
September 12 - San Francisco, CA @ Regency Ballroom

Sleep are also set to perform their now infamous "Holy Mountain" album in its entirety on the September 3rd date.
