Belphegor Comments On Upcoming Album

Yesterday Austrian blackened death metal act Belphegor ended the last rehearsing session for the band's upcoming studio album. Belphegor bassist Serpenth comments: "Its Belphegor to the bone, nine monumental - epic arrangements. The sound collages have a haunting - ritualistic atmosphere. Werk IX will be the longest playing Belphegor album yet."

Guitarist Helmuth also stated, "Sunday we returned form the awesome Metal Gate Open Air we shredded in Czech, and went direct back in the rehearsal bunker. Fucking wicked! The last rehearsals turned out fantastic. We practiced day and night to get every level to the highest peak."

The band is set to enter The Abyss Studios in Pärbly, Sweden on June 19th to begin recording the new album.
