Vintage Flesh Comments On Drum Recording Process
New Hampshire black metal act Vintage Flesh has checked in with the following update about the drum recording process:
"Whew, as the drummer for this new pursuit I can tell you I am relieved to be complete, I only hope I can remain proud of what I have done when it is all over. My damaged nerves made this a real process. The drugs and the excess coffee over the years have certainly had there way over my ravaged inner workings. I feel I did the best with what my body can do though. We had Gemini of C.N.V. sit in on drums for one song 'Priest skin ship.'
"I was having particular nerve problems that day and my blast beats were for shit. Wo in hopes of moving on Gemini valiantly offered to help. In three takes it was complete. Though we may have at it one more time. It seems Gemini may be laying down some bass soon as well. We were bass free on the first release so this should fill things up a bit and bring out the doom elements as well.
"This coming Sunday (less then 24 hours away) will see Hex on the first decomposed leg of the guitar parts. I ask all out there to pull together to help summon the dark lords assistance in seeing him through. We have had a couple falling outs between me and Hex over the tremendous pressure and demands that the songs before us have laid out in our path. Though we know this is just the demons we have unleashed who are having fun with our minds. All is well within the circle. We are for the most part protected from any outside influences we do not seek to allow in. We brave the blackened path to uncertainty. Ever onward."
