Chthonic Bassist Doris Yeh Nominated As Goremate Of The Year

Taiwanese black metallers Chthonic have issued the following announcement about bassist Doris Yeh being nominated as "Goremate of the Year," as well as information about the band preparing a new single:

"Held by the UK's biggest selling horror magazine GoreZone, the annual GoreZone Magazine Awards will take place at London's prestigious Prince Charles Cinema on October 2nd and 3rd 2010. Nominees including Jennifer’s Body, Saw VI, Orphan, and Borderland, etc., and this year, Doris Yeh, the bassist of Chthonic, was nominated as Goremate of the Year.

"Doris was surprised by the nomination, but this crossover achievement is not the only one she has made so far. She has been the cover girl of FHM magazine, GQ girl of GQ magazine, and Favorite Lady of Front Magazine in UK, and she has been chosen as The Hottest Chick of All Time by Revolver magazine in the United States. In 2009, she played a role in a Taiwanese movie 'Tears' which has been nominated as The Best Film in Taipei Film Festival, Canada Film Festival, and Munich Film Festival 2010. And she has been invited to attend Karlovy Vary International Film Festival this July as well. ChthoniC is now preparing their new single which will be released in the September, and will tour with Arch Enemy in the UK in this November."
