The Kovenant Start Work on New Material

Norway's The Kovenant have reportedly started work on the material for their new album, tentatively due in early 2004 through Nuclear Blast Records. The as-yet-untitled effort will apparently be "more guitar-oriented and darker" than "S.E.T.I." (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence), which came out in March.

As previously reported, The Kovenant will be joined by two session musicians during their upcoming world tour in support of "S.E.T.I." . Ram-Zet drummer Küth and Apoptygma Berzerk keyboardist Geir Bratland have reportedly signed on to tour with the group, which headlined the Inferno Festival in Oslo, Norway in April.
