May 30th Declared Ronnie James Dio Day In Los Angeles

The Los Angeles City Council has announced that May 30th will be known as Ronnie James Dio Day in the city. This announcement was made official at the singer's memorial service on Sunday by the event's host Eddie Trunk. Ronnie James Dio passed away on May 16th, after a battle with stomach cancer at the age of 67.

Yes it does need to be national not just in L.A. I also need to say I am furious that Ozzy is now volunteering to be the front man for Sabbath again. Some people might think the Oz-ster is attempting to cash in (ka-ching) on Ronnie James Dio's death. Shame on you Ozzy!!!!
