Nu metal pioneers Korn has announced that they will be heading up north for a headlining tour of Canada next month. Joining them on the trek will be Five Finger Death Punch, who are currently promoting their latest studio album, "War Is The Answer" and Stillwell, the side project of Korn bass player Fieldy and underground rapper Q Unique, who are expected to release their debut album, "Surrounded By Liars" later this year. Korn will also be releasing a new album this year and are once again working with producer Ross Robinson, who produced the band's first two albums.

The tour dates are as follows:

March 29 – Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver, BC
March 31 – Big Four Building (Stampede Grounds) - Calgary, AB
April 2 – Agribition - Regina, SK
April 3 – Winnipeg Convention Centre - Winnipeg, MB
April 6 – International Centre Arrow Hall - Toronto, ON

Agreed the lineup stinks....
Im a korn fan have been since 91, but i almost wish they kinda go away for awhile, either find a new sound or just go on hiatus for awhile....especially after the last 3 disappointing cds....its kinda like having a dog for all their life, thats on their last limb, you dont wanna do it but in the end you end up taking it to the vet and putting it out of its misery.....almost the same here....in the end, i alwyas be a fan

Dear RTB,

"The new album marks the return of producer Ross Robinson, who worked with Korn on their first two releases, “Korn” and “Life is Peachy.” Lead vocalist Jonathan Davis has said that the new material matches the pure raw emotion of Korn’s early releases while the current touring band has never been tighter. “It’s the perfect mix, says Davis. We can’t wait for the fans to hear it!”

RTB, glad to be of service my friend! I'm actually thinking about going to this show instead of Mayhem because I've already seen LoG/Shadows Fall/Atreyu. The only band I'd be a little upset at not seeing would be Chimaira...new album is simply awesome. Also, I might be one of the only people on this site who enjoys 5 FDP lol
