To commemorate Kataklysm's fifteen years of technical death metal goodness, Nuclear Blast has recognized them with an honorary award. In this day of age, many bands move from between labels, but Kataklysm has had a relationship with Nuclear Blast for 15 years.

The special plaque was awarded at a live performance in Stuttgart, Germany. Currently, the band is in the midst of recording a new album that follows up to their 2008 release: "Prevail." In conjunction, the band is participating in an eclectic tour with Kreator, Evile, Lightning Swords of Death, and Lazarus A.D.

Congrats to Kataklysm. Probably my favorite death metal band along with Deicide and the band that got me interested in death metal with the In the Arms of Devastation album. Once again, congrats to you guys cuz you definitely deserve it. STAY METAL MY FRIENDS!
