Kivimetsan Druidi Finishes Recording New Album

Finnish folk metal band Kivimetsän Druidi has issued the following update about finishing the recording of their new album:

"Hello all our friends! The past year was kind of special to us. We matured as a band quite a lot, played some awesome festival gigs - especially Rocktower in Lübeck, Ragnaroek in Lichtenfels and Metal Female Voices Fest in Wieze.

"We also reached one of our long waited goal when we had a chance to tour in North America for the very first time. Heathenfest America was awesome experience and we'd like to express our thanks to our great tour mates Eluveitie, Belphegor, Alestorm and Vreid as well as Rock The Nation and Thunderdome touring and the whole crew. A very special thank you goes to our awesome audiences - friends and fans all over the US and Canada. We really want to come back soon!

"This year 2010 will be, if possible, even more excited. We have just completed the recordings of our second album and now we are mixing it. It will be released some time in April, we hope, and it will most certainly surprise many of you! We won't reveal more now, but look out for the news. We are determined to make new announcements quite soon.

"With a new album to promote we'll play as many gigs and tours as possible. Hope to see as many of you on the road as possible! Kivimetsän Druidi want to wish A Very Happy and Successful New Year to all our friends, fans and partners. Let's make 2010 a year to remember!"
