Decrepitaph Issues Band Recording Update

Texas death metallers Decrepitaph have issued the following update about upcoming releases:

"We just finished deleting all the songs in the MySpace player and putting up 8 fresh ones from all our releases. There are 3 tracks up from 'Condemned Cathedral' that have never been in the player before, and 2 of them are by request from people that wrote to us over the past couple months asking for them. There are 3 tracks from 'Ancient Dwellings' demo/promo/unreleased CD, which is one track from the original demo, one track from the Promo 2007, and the Asphyx cover song. Our half of the split 7" with Father Befouled which is called 'Summoned For Sacrifice' is also up, as is the first half of the 'Resurrected and Rotting' vinyl.

"Moving ahead, the mixing for our second album 'Beyond The Cursed Tombs' is COMPLETED, the layout is COMPLETED, and everything is ready to go. There is no release date yet, but expect it sometime early in 2010 on Razorback Records. Many thanks to Patrick from Crypticus for doing an amazing job on the mixing and Ghoat from Father Befouled for making the layout look amazing. Also, special thanks to everyone that contributed art to this release. Unfortunately, we had to cut out a few pieces of art do to space constraints, but we will use everything we got on future releases.

"Sometime in December we will be posting up a NEW track from the album and then another new track when the album is released. In December, we will also unveil the cover art for 'Beyond The Cursed Tombs' for everyone to check out. We will have t-shirts with the album art too. They will be available the same day the CD comes out and we will offer a package deal if you want to pick up both a shirt and CD from us. Keep checking our page for that..

"In other news, we have been asked to be on a 4 way split CD to be released next year. The split will be with another Razorback Records band, a very awesome doom/death band that you should know, and another band that hasn't been decided yet. We are recording for this soon and we'll post more info on it when we know more.

"Also coming next year is a 4 song MCD on Archasm Releasing which will have all new material and POSSIBLY a cover song. We plan to record for this in early 2010 and a Spring release time frame is a safe bet. Again, we will give more info when we know it. We are also planning a split 7" with the great band OFFAL for 2010 as well. We are currectly searching for a label, so anyone interested is welcome to contact us or Offal directly.
