Arch Enemy Singer Refutes Marriage Claim

Arch Enemy frontwoman Angela Gossow has refuted a report in the current issue of Metal Hammer magazine quoting her as saying that she and Arch Enemy guitarist Mike Amott will be getting hitched later in the year.

Writing on the band's official message board, Gossow said simply, "[Metal Hammer] misquoted me. I just said we are thinking about it [getting married], without being too serious."

As previously reported, Amott recently spoke out publicly for the first time about his relationship with Gossow, whom he met in 2000 while she was the singer in a German death metal band.

A serious couple for the past three years, Mike and Angela have been reluctant to talk about their romantic involvement despite the widespread rumors that have been circulating via the Internet ever since Gossow appeared on the band's last studio CD, 2001's "Wages Of Sin".
