DevilDriver Issues Tour Road Report

Guitarist Jeff Kendrick of DevilDriver has issued the following tour road report:

"I really, really apologize for being so fucking slow on the blogs from out here in Europe. What can I say, I have been having way too much fucking fun and we have been just killing it all over Europe and the UK. Okay to start we sold out almost every single show in the UK. Absolutely amazing and awesome! It exceeded my expectations and I was quite blown away to say the least. I can definitely say that we had such a good time with our friends in Malefice, Trigger The Bloodshed, Suicide Silence and the mighty Behemoth. Unfortunately, all the bands except Behemoth would only join us on that leg. We made some amazing new friends and just crushed the UK. Thank you to everyone that came out to fucking see us and make the UK the best tour we have ever done.

"For the last couple of weeks we have been enjoying mainland Europe and I can say that the shows have been nothing short of fucking amazing as well. This time around Behemoth is still here with us(As we are flip flopping with them during dates all over Europe) and we welcomed Scar Symmetry and Arsis to the tour. Neither band I have ever been very familiar with but they are both killing it and love to share a post gig beer with the entire tour. I love making new friends on tour and traveling so much we meet all kinds of people. I am always down for new friends as it just makes the entire touring experience a lot better. When your tour mates are cool it just makes the time go by that much quicker!

"We spent our first Halloween outside of the United States ever! It was kind of weird to be honest and absolutely NO ONE dressed up at all. One realizes that Halloween is such an American holiday. Traveling so much you realize the cultural differences in the world. All though some of them are kind of a bummer (Like Halloween in Germany) meeting new people and experiencing new cultures, people and holidays abroad is always really fucking great!!! Needless to say, Behemoth dressed us up in black metal makeup and we represented Halloween as well as we could! We were all in black metal paint and by the looks of all the fans, we definitely gained their approval. We rocked it!

"As I am going to try and be more frequent with blogs these days I feel that I should spice it up a little bit. What I mean is I can write you what I am doing, but that gets boring. So I have incorporated an awesome video that a friend of mine just sent me! Expect more cool things to follow like funny pictures and new videos. My blogs are stepping up at this point!(fuck yeah) Enclosed is a video by a friend of mine named Kristina Klebe. It is a kind of montage of her acting work that has audio and video re-mixed by a bad ass artist named Mike Realm. Kristina was in Rob Zombie's Halloween, The Accidental Husband and many more films and TV work that would take to long too name. I recently called her the "hottest girl on the planet" in a Metal Hammer interview. She is definitely an up and coming actress and "quite the looker" too :-) Anyways, enjoy below and check her out at this location and tell her I sent you!!!

"I also wanted to share a link for a friend of mine for his new short illustrated novel. My friend Rick Florino just completed his first short story series called 'Dolor' The series is 10 animated short novellas that are very reminiscent of Steven King. It is simply amazing! The very first short is called 'Lila.' Rick is a journalist turned author and you need to keep an eye out for this series as it is going to take off. After I finished the first story I just kept wanting more! For anyone who is a fan of horror films, books anything horror related, check the book out at this location.
