I have not listened to Venom in a long time. I know I'm probably stomping on hallowed ground, but I always thought they were a bit sloppy. I know they gave bloody birth to an entire genre of metal and I give them props/respect for that, but I hope that a live set from them is tight and not just a matter of going through the motions. Yes, they are metal legends in their own right...which is why one should expect a killer set from them. In fact, if they come anywhere near Greensboro NC (NOT LIKELY) I'd go check it out. But I have to be a little bit cautious in jumping on the Holy Venom Batman Bandwagon...
