Shadowside Replaces Bass Player Edu With Nick IX

Brazil's Shadowside has issued the following update about replacing their bassist and upcoming tour dates:
"So THIS is what the sun looks like during the day!! Hello, my babies in the dark! It is about 9:00am and I am putting the finishing touches on packing for the fun that waits in the States! We are all very excited about this first leg of the tour!
"Of course this tour hasn’t been without its bumps along the way. That’s what happens sometimes with venues, promoters, etc. They put a hold on a date, they send in their offers and contracts only to bail on them late in the game. Unfortunately it has happened on several shows thus far. Of course our manager, Sweet Lou. dove in and replaced most of the dates. One that concerns us is our ....Michigan.... date at TNT’S. It looks as if this show is going to be cancelled. We’ve already done some press for that show, but it seems our agent hasn’t been able to get an answer of whether or not the venue or promoter is going to stand behind his contract. Frankly, it is probably better that it happened BEFORE we showed up at the venue. *laughs* So is ANY OF YOU know of a venue CLOSE to the show in ....Michigan...., PLEASE contact 'Sweet Lou.' at GlamSLAMinc@aol.com , perhaps he can get another date RE-scheduled somewhere in the area…
"Now some other EXCITING news! Unfortunately things always change within a band and we are no different. Edu our bass player is no longer with us. On this leg of the tour we are proud to welcome NICK IX! You can check out Nicky at this location. Nick is a rhythm guitarist by trade (endorsed by Jackson Guitars), but when we needed a bass player, Nick didn’t even think twice…he offered and we gladly accepted. Nick is true metal in the purest sense of the word! At this time, Nick is a 'touring member' of SHADOWSIDE…we want to hear from YOU the fans when we’re out there what you think of the line up! Also, Nick will most likely be playing acoustic rhythm guitar with Rapha at our Hot Topic appearances…you didn’t FORGET about coming out to see us at the Mall have you????
"I will be doing little video pieces so you can see what insanity and fun it is getting ready for a tour. We’ll post it soon and let you know where to view them.
"Again, I can’t WAIT to see you all in the States! Better be ready to SHOW YOUR HORNS!!"
