its mostly just a bunch of songs that were previously available as either singles or track packs @ the playstation/xbox online store thrown together on a disc. i already have 90% of these available anyways... meh, songs for people who dont have a credit card i guess

nihilist : 1st of all, kool a$$ name btw, and, even tho, i do agree with some of the ones u call out as to being "hardly even metal", some just r a type, subgenre or -core of metal. ex. bullet, whether u like it or not, is a type of metal, that's just kinda "brought down" to a more bright and board type of metal, and almost as the same for in this moment, even tho i'm not a fan of them tho.

It's funny that they decided to leave off some of the ridiculous metal songs that RB has up for DL like Job for a Cowboy, Black Dahlia Murder, Slayer, etc. but like somebody pointed out, this is a disc for ppl that don't have credit cards and don't buy songs with microsoft points every week.
Also its not a game ppl, its not a new rock band, its a track pack. You need Rock Band 1 or 2 to buy the track pack, its not its own game. And to the idiot that prefers Guitar Hero, Rock Band doesn't have some of the extra bells and whistles but the charts are much more realistic (altho both games aren't realistic) and the songs RB puts out for download destroy the GH ones.

DM725 : i know exactly what u mean man... i HAD RB and i loved the bonus downloadable sh** that i got like atr, devildriver, log, etc. but it's just the gameplay itself sux and GH blows it outta the water completely. i just wish we can cross-surface the downloaded games and play them on the other games but then again, that is competition for u =\ and sadly, it is NOTHING BUT ALL about the benjamins.

its about time that there was a guitar hero/rock band game that was strictly for metal... however does anybody else find this list a little to short? i mean guitar hero: world tour had like 70 songs.
