Machinery Writing New Album Material

Swedish metallers Machinery have issued the following update about working on new material:

"hey boys and girls!

"Had a nervous breakdown today trying to fix the soundcard on my homepc! damn computers...can really fck your mind up!

"well we are just working kinda individually on songs so far just to see what kinda stuff comes out and choose thereafter. we have already a bunch of songs made and god knows we have tons of material since the good ole days still unreleased. doubt much of that will come out though. as a musician it..s always more fun and inspiring to concentrate on the present stuff and where to go...

"and in the end it..s gonna be all about choosing direction i guess. as always with this band which has so many elements to choose from. but off course you guys know already we are suckers for diversity.

"but if i get to choose now it..s gonna be a bloody mellow record hehe. things that pop on my stereo these days all have the the thing in common its pretty calm! but don..t worry guys...johan would rather kill me than having a record without any punch you in the face stuff in it!...sensing a rumble ey?

"well le..ts just see how things develop. but as for now the material written so far has a bit more landscape feeling in it. something which i personally think we..ve never done before. well we have slow parts as in bloodline or in the passing, but not like this. if we choose to put that on the album remains to be seen though."
