Zakk Wylde Furious With Ozzy Osbourne

Black Label Society mainman Zakk Wylde was recently interviewed by Eugene, Oregon's, KFLY Radio, during which he came clean about how certain his place in Ozzy Osbourne's band. He proceeded to rant for three minutes, stating:
"I’ve gotta be honest with you. The boss hasn’t even given me a phone call, so I mean… I’m just like… I don’t know what’s going on over there. Are we doing this thing or are we not doing it? When I keep getting asked these questions, I go, ‘Call the boss. When he tells you, then he can call me back.’ I mean, it’s just like… I love you, man. Whatever you want, that’s cool.
"But if we’re doing this, let’s do it, and let’s whoop some ass. But if you don’t wanna do it, then just give me a heads-up. Call me, man. Tell me what the hell’s going on. I don’t know what the hell’s going on over there. We’re working on the new record, we’ll be back in September, we’ll work on finishing the record. And then we’re supposed to do the tour.
"I mean, it’s like, dude, you don’t wanna play with me anymore? Fine. Play with whoever the hell you wanna play with. I couldn’t give a rat’s ass. Like I’m gonna get all jealous or whatever."

Ozzy Osbourne has officially reached a new low, just when I thought he could not sink any lower. At this point every move Ozzy makes is a further disservice to any influence he had in the rock and roll (not just heavy metal) world. When he did the reality show 10 years ago he showed his true colors and it has been downhill every since.
Strike One- Re-recordiing classic albums ni order to avoid paying the members of hte band that actually WROTE the music
Strike Two- REALITY SHOW
Strike Three- This bullsh** with Zakk Mlyde!
YOU ARE OUT OZZY! OOOOOOUUUUTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!

The change at guitar is fine, its disappoints me at the way it was handled....also even though the reality show wasnt great, the first season their were hilarious moments...probably when he sat in that chair after taking a bite of cake and fell backwards landing on his back while sitting would be my funniest moment....good luck to zakk

I think Ozzy should just lay down and let the new bands do their thing. I grew up with Black Sabbath and I loved Iommi more than any other musician. Ozzy's lyrics were only OK but Iommi's guitar was what kept me listening. He's still around behind the scenes and that's what Ozzy should do, the lime light is for the new bands, he should try to have some dignity. How much f***en money does he need, anyway?

Ozzy's most likely going to die soon anyways. I just have a feeling, same feeling I had with MJ - and what d'yknow he shows up dead the next morning strange how this sh** works out.
As for the prince of darkness, for publicity he signs up to his latest World Of Warcraft advertising company to appeal to a bunch of douchebags 12 year olds who probably haven't even heard of him.
Guess Zakk won't be as annoying during interviews any more by mentioning "Ozzy" and "godfather of Metal" in the same sentence, every other sentence.

That_One_Guy: the more recent "Blizzard of Oz" and "Diary of a Madman" "remasters" have taken Randy Rhodes & co off, and replaced them with Ozzy's then-current band members. So if you want the original Guitar, Bass, Drums-- you need to buy the 1995 remasters.
I don't care so much about the stupid sitcom & commercials. But eliminating musicians from the classic albums (who were largely responsible for them BEING classic in the first place) and now publically announcing that he's dropping Zak without, you know, bothering to tell Zak about it--- Prince of Douchness indeed.

As far as I'm concerned, the worst thing he did was that god awful tv show. All the other things make him an a**hole, but watching him walking around like a blithering idiot in a sh*t tv show caused him to lose all credibility. Let's face it, after No More Tears, he pretty much went to h**l. And I agree with Nihilist - Ozzfest sucked.

I agree with crucufythe whore, he's going to be dead soon. Zak has a tremendous fan base and is going to be better off if he can break away from Ozzy and his ego. Ozzy seems like a puppet to me anymore and Zak has learned what he needed to learn from the old coot. Fly away little Zakbird do your own thing. We all love you with or without Ozzy's d*** up your ass.. Sorry, that was mean.

Necrovomit - Holy sh1t, your right. Fvck I walked into that one. Though it is over-populated with 12 year old f-ggots, and Ozzy just lowers himself even futher to pronounce himself "the prince of darkness" on a World Of Warcraft advertisement and believe people would take him seriously.

No ZAKK WYLDE doesn't sound furious in his massage above concerning OZZY's latest attempt of getting a new guitarist but deep down it is quite "clear" he is very "hurt" over matter. It's oddly strange to me that Ozzy didn't even discuss w/Zakk...'even if he is the Boss his needing do have a new fresh reign w/another guitarist for his next album. When Zakk worked in Ozzy Osbourne band for many yrs/since '86 or '87 and for OZZY not to even mention to him his plans of replacement is really not cool...'and plus he/Zakk finds out on the Internet his going to be replaced?! That's awful/painstaking for him to experience. Even if OZZY wanted someone just temporary he still should of talked w/his long time energized & dedicated guitarist Zakk Wylde also of BLS. Peace and maybe they can still have some kinda reconciliation before it's too late! Peace.
