Former Warrant Singer Jani Lane Goes To Jail
Former Warrant vocalist Jani Lane will be spending two mandatory days in jail after pleading no contest to his recent charge of misdemeanor DUI stemming from an incident where he hit a parked car back in June. As part of Jani's plea deal - in which authorities agreed to drop a hit-and-run charge - Lane will serve 36 months probation, complete 3 months in alcohol education classes and report for 30 days of Caltrans road work, in addition to paying over $395 in fines. If he does not pay the money he will receive 13 additional days in jail instead.

sh**, there used to be a time when rockers were dangerous and went to jail all the time!
I remember when I started listening to Slayer and Pantera (and this was in the nineties, not even the eighties) there was a stigma attached to heavy metal because if fyou listened to the music it meant you were a bad-ass!
Now pampered suburban kids cough *Trivium* cough are the "future" of metal
sh**, I run into metal heads who support Obama! Communism is not metal (even if Tom Morello says it is)!
Now playing- Pantera- The Great Southern Trendkill

How long before the rest of Warrant issues another "sympathetic" statement trying to distance themselves from Jani?
Maybe Warrant should realize they HAVE no career without Jani.
He wrote all their hits and if anything should be trying to help him clean up.
Maybe a few day in jail with "Bubba" will be enough to wake him up.
