Alot of roadrunner haters on this site, while i do agree with some of the complaints, some i see as just speculation or just for the sake of complaining...
As far as the cd/dvd is concerned, ill end up picking it up, was a huge fan of this band from 99-03 and seeing any old video footage of them intrests me, so chalk up 20$ for roadrunner via RTB

I personally don't understand where all the disrespect for Slipknot comes from in various mags and on websites. Their music may not be everyone's cup of tea but they are very talented and have worked extremely hard. I think they have more than earned the accolades they receive. I'm looking forward to the anniversary reissue and will try to get my hands on the boxed set. I may even be in Des Moines on 9/9.

slipknot has little more talent than paris hilton. they have a watered down sound and the same repetitive sh** in their songs now. their first couple of albums had some originality but after that it was like they took their brains out and stored them in mason jars like most bands do so they can make a little extra cash. the most talented one in that band is joey. other than him you've got corey who can't sing for sh** and sounds like a dying cat most of the time, jim and mick who are extremely elementary guitarists, and they rest of the dead weight in that band that pretty much does nothing. i used to like these guys but now i wouldn't piss on one of their cd's to put out a fire, you wanna talk about talent, you listen to some chuck schuldiner and death

"sh**"-
How is Slipknot untalented if they make more money in a week than you'll make in your whole life? It's bullsh** how people say these guys are "untalented". If they were so untalented they wouldn't be as popular as they are. They wouldn't have thousands of FANS at every single one of their shows. You are a fool to say they are untalented.

#6 : i am a fairly big slipknot fan and a ex-HUGE slipknot fan/maggot, until i got my head outta my @$$ and found better and more talented bands. they r a good metal band and i respect them but at the same time, i don't. talent has NOTHING to do with popularity, britney spears is popular and so is lil wayne and yet i've had more talent come out of the back of me after a burrito. ppl just like catchy and mediocre music and always will. slipknot is just the highligher u smell in kindergarden to get high, which then gets u to the gateway stuff which then finally u find the good sh!t, which is eventually the heroine of music. but about the new reissue, i won't b picking it up nor even downloading it for that matter, 'cause i hate remixes and unproduced sounding demos, plus i already have all those rare songs anyways... "purity" \m/

Wow, I love Slipknot- seriously, they're my favorite band- but the maggots who already own this album and are buying the reissue are TOOLS.
Why?
They're paying 20 bucks for:
An album they already own
several remixes they've probably heard already
four demos, including three they've never heard before
a 45-minute long DVD
three music videos they're already
several photos
a foreword?
I rest my case.
(I'd consider dropping this if there was cool album packaging, but no, I can get that for probably 20 bucks more along with a t-shirt and useless junk I don't need.)

Oh... and MetabolicxHeretic... That argument is so flawed it's not even funny. Hannah Montana is pulling down twice what Slipknot is in a year so *flushes toilet* there goes your credibility. That is unless you're willing to admit that Miley Cyrus is two times more talented than any one individual in Slipknot.

While I do admit that Slipknot has a sound of their own and they did bring something new to metal, My question is, Is this Really necessary?
Then again, I bet it´s Roadrunner Records´ suggestion to cash in a bit more (They´re rapidly becoming my least favorite label in our solar system. What happened to them?? Went from Sepultura to Trivium)
