I just watched the interview with Freddy from Chthonic in Taiwan and he said the album is about the massacre Chinese did to Taiwanese 50 years ago and the leader of the Chinese army at the time was Chang Kai Shek and the statue with the head chopped off at the end of the MV was Chang Kai Shek's statue. There was a scene where a flag with white star was burnt and it is the Chinese Nationalist flag. From what I know, the scene with nails hammer into the hand was how Taiwanese were tortured by the Chinese people. I heard this from the older generation.

The song was great but the new corpse paint looks odd
