Pittsburgh metal band, Crown The Lost, has issued the following studio update:

"We are currently holed up in Soundscape Studios with Dave Watson recording a cover of Faster Pussycat's 'House of Pain.' Reason being, Renaldi often refers to our rehearsal room as his 'house of pain' when there is no alcohol present, so it was fitting..."

...just kidding. Maybe one day - that is a good jam; you can't deny it. Joking aside, we are indeed in the process of recording a new song for our own benefit and it probably won't see the light of day until album #3 hits next year. That, or when we do our best-of collection in 2027. Check out some pics of us being idiots in the studio here."

"On the show front, we will be opening for the mighty Edguy at Peabody's Down Under in Cleveland on Saturday, September 12th. We do have tix available, so hit us up: crownthelost@hotmail.com. We just confirmed (like, 15 minutes) ago an opening slot with Sonata Arctica on Tuesday, October 13th @ the Rex Theatre in Pittsburgh. Ticket details forthcoming - it should rock. "
