I second that comment - Manson appeared either very sick or extremely high. At any rate he was way more incoherent than normal, barely interacted with the crowd, slogged through every song not making much of an effort to sing, and walked off after a few songs without so much as a goodbye or an encore. I could have sworn it looked like someone was helping him off the stage. No special effects, the music was off, there was nothing to let you know this was a Manson show. As I was trying to get out, the corral doors swung shut and closed people off from the exit so he and his tour bus could escape. If he even lives through THIS tour I'll be amazed, he has no business booking extra shows if this is the kind of crap he's putting on. He's also at least 10-20 pounds heavier than he was last year. Sorry if you already have tickets, but bail after Slayer and don't even bother unless you enjoy watching traffic accidents.

I was at the Sacramento/Wheatland show too. Like DB implied above, Manson was not into the show at all....and the feeling I got was that he was just "too good" to even be there. As I watched from the Pit area just 20 feet from the stage, I also sensed that his guitarist was little ticked at him too.....as Manson was playing more to his girlfriend who sitting just off to the right behind the speakers than to the crowd.
Unless he gets more into his work for the other shows, I don't see how he's going to make it through the rest of the tour.
Slayer simply killed it as unified quartet.

f*** this band. Saw them last night at the rockstar mayhem in Sacramento and they were horrible! Why they headlined is beyond me! Should have at least gave the headliner to Slayer. they killed it live.
