Gojira swapped sets with Death Angel at Graspop and they had the decency to only tell us in Dutch. So imagine my face when I went to see Death Angel and those f***ers popped up. I don't have anything against them but I couldn't help but shout to myself "... What the f*** is this sh**?!"

FVCK! Great line up! I missed Gojira when the first time they came to town opening for LOG so this would make up for that.

With this line-up and no Philly or Jersey dates i'll probably save up to take a trip up to the Garden. Actually just started getting into Volbeat, Hallelujah Goat got me hooked. That songs f***in' addicting!

I wouldnt pay 100 dollars to see metallica. i dont even thinkI'de pay a hundred to see metallica with Lamb of God, unless i was rolling in it and had money to blow. but a hundred to see Metallica, Lamb of God, AND Gojira? That's mighty tempting.

then again, it pisses me off a bit because i only paid 40 to see Lamb of God, Machine head, trivium and Gojira. Goddamnit.

Oz - that timings mess up was because Howard jones' grandmother died, changed all the sets around. And also Gojira had to get two flights, which delayed them.

Shoulda gone to the info tent ;)

Graspop was pretty good imo. Headliners failed except slipknot, although they weren't at their best.

Yeah I remember them announcing about Howard Jones's nan, I didn't think to go to the info tent though. Lives and learns I suppose. At least I'd seen Death Angel before so I wasn't TOO disappointed. I enjoyed Motley Crue and Slipknot, Manson was shockingly bad though.

GOJIRA has a edgy jazzy vibe added to their Progressive Metal sound: I find them fascinating & how cool of METALLICA to add them to their 2009 Tour Schedule.

Oz - I heard that Crue were crap, I didn't bother stayin for them, but my friend did, and he said they blew hard. Manson's new work just doesn't hold up on stage. His act in general was poor. Should just stick to old good stuff imo

Nothinghead - Gama bomb are an irish thrash band, Thin Lizzy and Stiff Little fingers are Irish hard rock, other than that I would have been Irishmetalhead, but it's a pain to fill in sometimes and I'm lazy :P

Bristowe: totally right brother. Saw Gojira at Richards on Richards last time they came through and it was easily the best live performance I've ever seen. Even beats Lamb of God and that's a daunting task.
