Master To Play Hostile City Death Fest

Death metal icons MASTER will play Philadelphia’s Hostile City Death Fest to be held on July 4-5, 2009 at The Arena. MASTER will perform on July 5, 2009 with the likes of Absu, Total Fucking Destruction, Kult ov Azazel, and Ibex Moon artists GOREAPHOBIA. Ibex Moon label mates DREAMING DEAD will perform on July 4 with, among others, Deicide, Monstrosity, Vital Remains, and Jungle Rot.

MASTER will then embark on the "Slaves to Society" U.S. tour with DREAMING DEAD and GOREAPHOBIA. An updated list of tour dates follows:

Man, this fest was crap. There was only a turn out of like twenty people most of the time and the sound guys kept turning up too much damn kick drum. You could barely make out any of the songs and every band sounded the same (even more than usual!). Only thing I got out of it were those Comparative Anatomy guys. Totally weird and fresh. They kind of messed their sound too, but it was cool seeing something like that at this kind of show.
