RM - March of the Fire Ants vid was the reason I started listening to Mastodon, so I have to agree.
When you listen to songs like these, you get the feeling that this music just had to be made...like they're a living breathing creature sitting idle until the next great band conjours them up.
BTW, anyone want to catch the Tool show in Charlotte? My wife will be over 8 months prego by then. Sort of just kidding here but d@mn I don't want to miss this show...even though I saw the 10K Days tour twice. You know this time they'll mix it up.

I reckon the vid is pretty cool. And the music is really good. I don't usually get into the slower metal anymore, but there's something about this that makes me like it. Not too keen on the vocals though. And the guitarists (Brent?) forehead tat is pretty awesome.

goddamnit I love this f***in new album by them, but I think I look forward to the music videos and what crazy shenanigans mastodon has gotten themselves into now, more than the actual music.
