Hardcore metal group Hatebreed has posted their new music video online for their cover of the Slayer song, "Ghosts Of War." You can check it out below. The song comes from Hatebreed's forthcoming new covers album, "For The Lions" which will be released on May 3rd and was originally featured on the classic Slayer album, "South Of Heaven."

I dont mind it, but for the people that dont like it i know becsue they are playing a slayer song people wont like it becasue slayers was better but if you like your heavy metal and never heard this slayer song would you like it then? or would you still hate it, its what happens when bands cover good metal band songs everyone judges the new song on the old song

I liked the solo, i thought it was very well done, but the song overall just doesnt match hatebreed's style one bit in my opinion. If it wasnt for the decent solo, I would completely say f*** this song. Just doenst work for me.

duh! if you just play a cover live, then thats just a tribute to the band, fine, but having the arrogance to release an entire album of covers demands that you be scrutinized. Simply releasing a single cover on an album means you are attempting to apply your sound to a song already made classic, and to still retain that sense of "wow, that was badass"

Hatebreed did not accomplish that with a single cover I've heard from them so far, so as far I'm concerned, this whole album is a wasted effort.
