Iron Maiden Guitarist Denies Rumours Of A Split

Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith has denied that Iron Maiden will be calling it a day after they release their next studio album. Last year, bass player and founder Steve Harris stated: "We’ve always said we’re only going to do 15 albums; we’re coming up to it. There’s going to be an ending point."
However Adrian Smith has refuted this claim recently with the claim that: "We’ll carry on. The great thing is that there’s clearly a huge audience out there waiting to hear what we’re going to do right now; and in the real world that’s not a very common situation so you have to appreciate it."
Iron Maiden are expected to take a break after they finish their tour and then enter the studio to record their fifteenth studio album, which should be released in time for the bands 35th anniversary next year.

I liked Dance Of Death personally and I'll agree that AMOLAD was better live (also saw them at Earls Court) but as an album, I didn't really like it. There's two or three songs that I still listen to. Plus if they do the next album live in full I'm never paying to see them again.

Gotta agree with Oz here, when I saw Maiden on the matter of life and death tour it was my first time seeing the band, cuz I've lived in the Yukon my whole life and bands don't come here, so I was pretty excited to see them play the classics, as would be expected to any first-timer. Not being a big fan of the latest album at the time I felt pretty let down. All that money spent on the plane ticket to Toronto, hotel expences and not to mention the cost of the concert ticket it was a pretty dissapointing expereince. Mind you I don't wanna sound like I'm b****ing about it cuz it was still a pretty amazing show, can't really complain about seeing Maiden live.
