He sh**head did I say I was trying to be more "underground" by liking Bon more, NO! I like Bon more cuz he had a way better voice, better stage presence, and straight up wrote better kick-ass songs. And I'd agree with you that he had some weak ones too, but none of them were anything near as lame as that "Anything Goes" song from the new AC/DC album

^the singer is only 1/5th of the band. Besides the fact, Angus and Malcolm not only write the guitar pieces, but since brian's messy divorce troubles, also took over lyrical responsibility.
So if the song is sh**ty, blame them first, and then Brian. Then step back a second and realize that as unique of a person and as unique of a voice that bon had, ACDC somehow miraculously found a person to replace him that had nearly the same exact vocal range and style, so Brian has done the best he can.
If the song sucks, leave brian alone, he's got nothin to do with it. In fact, he's one of the few aging frontmen out there that still sings nearly as good as he did in his prime. It's the whole band's fault when a song sucks ya know...

Now ladies stop fighting. Actually, this song reminds me alot of one that Brian Johnson sang in his other group, Geordie. Geordie Stomp has that similar feel. I think its a song with great energy wich is something they lacked with the DDDDC and SUL albums. The new album is great and a step in the right direction. I love both eras equally the way a true AC/DC fan would. Theres no need for trash talk or online muscles people.
Honestly you should all just be glad that they are still around and making quality music...
Underrated song of the day: Kissin' Dynamite

^uh dude, wasn't trying to bash Brian in anyway. I'm well aware that Angus and Malcolm write all guitar parts, my only point was that they didn't write songs like that back when Bon was in the band. And I wasn't trying to imply that it was because of bons place in the band although it seems you took it that way

Rake: what you have to realize, in order for my point to make sense, is taht before, Bon wrote all the lyrics, and had a big hand in the creative process. Brian only had a hand in everything in the Back in Black album.
NOW, angus and malcolm write both the guitar parts AND the lyrics. So if a song off the new album sucks, it's their fault primarily, not Brian's. He's just the guy with the pretty face that does all the singing lol That's all that I was trying to get across. ya just seemed a bit accusatory of Brian to me, even if you didnt directly say it, so sorry if i misinterpret ya!
I personally agree that overall, this whole album is leagues beyond the past couple albums they've shat out. Not quite as great as some of the classics, but a decent "last hurrah" in my opinion.
