Whitesnake Mainman David Coverdale Talks About Judas Priest Tour

As previously reported, Whitesnake will be the special guests for Judas Priest on their upcoming tour of North America. A message from Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale reads: "The US is our home and it is a priority for us to achieve the same success here as we have throughout the rest of the world. We’re delighted to have the opportunity to play here again. We have a studio new album Good To Be Bad that we are incredibly proud of and we’ll be prominently featuring songs from that along with all the songs everyone knows by heart."
In other news, Judas Priest has announced that they will be performing their classic album, "British Steel" in full on the upcoming tour, instead of next year.
The Judas Priest/Whitesnake tour dates are as follows:
July 1 - The Family Arena - St. Charles, MO
July 2 - Summerfest, Harley Davidson Stage - Milwaukee, WI
July 3 - Taste Of Minnesota at Harriet Island - St. Paul, MN
July 9 - Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto, ON
July 11 - PNC Banks Arts Center - Holmdel, NJ
July 12 - Nikon At Jones Beach Theater - Wantagh, NY
July 17 - Moondance Jam 18 - Walker, MN
July 18 - Rockfest/Chippewa Valley Music - Cadott, WI
August 2 - Gibson Amphitheatre - Universal City, CA
