Diamond Oz- We all know the history of the 70's and 80's, not let me fill you in on more recent events. The songwriting members of this band have been prepared to record a new Sabbath album for the past decade, but have been unable to effectively achieve such a goal. Initially they had planned to do so with original singer-turned reality TV star Ozzy Osbourne. After years of frustration due to Ozzy's inability to actually write music or even commit to the project, they turned to the man who had previously replaced him, one Ronnie James Dio. After two successful tours the reunited second (third if you count a drummer change) incarnation of the lineup- now performing under the moniker Heaven and Hell to avoid any deflamation from Ozzy's Lord and master, Sauron Osbourne- decided to record the album they envisioned for the better part of the past 10 years.
Therefore my "Ozzy who?"comment was not in reference to the identity of the singer, but rather his involvement in the current project. Let me know if you have any questions, bro.
