I dunno about best, theres alot of 2009 left but if so its earned.
This is one of those bands thats popular enough with fans that genuinely care enough to purchase the album...Bet they chart well.
"Redneck" (Sacrament as whole doesn't get enough credit) has been the only hiccup in otherwise excellent discography...They didn't go soft like fellow NWOAHM chums Shadows Fall or Killswitch and they've been rewarded with a loyal army of fans.
Now Playing: Lamb of God - "Fake Messiah"

Agreed, its a sh**ty term but I can't think of a more universal and understood term that would lump LOG with the appropriate bands of their era.
Lamb of God aren't metalcore. They aren't deathcore. You could rightly call them groove metal but they came well behind that pack. Extreme metal is too loose a term and misses the intended era too....I should have just put "NWOAHM" (*smirk*) instead, that what I was thinking at the time :)
Now Playing: Levaithan - "Vulgar Ascetcism"
