lol. Ya might want to turn down your speakers for the first song...it comes out screaming and blaring, it'll surprise the sh** out of you if you're in a real quiet room with people sleeping in the next room..lets just say I was scrambling for the mute button before I hit replay hah

Although the other two clips were only like 4 or 5 seconds each(hard to get a perspective on a song outta that really..) the first one was fantastic. I especially like the real death metal growl he threw in at one point. Nice addition to the fierce yell/scream the guy already has going for him.

the music, at least in that bit, seemed faster and heavier than most anything Chimaira has done yet so far. I'm not sure what that means for the rest of the album, but I'm intrigued to see what else is on there now, and whatever that song gets titled, I'm at least downloading that, even if the rest of the album is garbage lol

They commented before it would be slower and heavier, so it'll be interesting to see how the end result is.

Mark's vocals are sounding tits, sample 1 was more than enough to convince me that this is going to be quite something to look forward to (I've always appreciated the drumming skills within Chimaira)...

In sounding all positive about the new release, I got to say that the lyrics Chimaira offered in the passed were extremely weak, so I hope they up their game in that department and give off some skull crushing brutality that's long overdue!!!

I liked them. The second sample made me anxious cuz it just gives you that small intro. Right when it's gonna get more into the song it just stops; it's a tease. I favor the last sample. :) \m/

At least with Chimaira, you know you are getting a good, consistent metal album. I look forward to hearing the samples when I get home. I still listen to IOR quite a bit. I have the newer albums downloaded too, but haven't really gotten to hear them all.
