Boo...so recording won't even start until May at the soonest.
Hope it can meet or beat the last three albums. Not a big "core" fan...but when it's done properly (Dillinger, Pig Destroyer, Converge, a small handful of others) it's a thing of beauty.
Now Playing: Opeth - "Deliverance"

metalmayhem: "core". How so?
Use of hardcore style vocals--shouts, and screams characteristic of the genre. a clear punk (although far more p***ed off) influence on the instrumental performance....All are regular purveyors of short, blazing fast songs complete with breakdowns. If there are metal elements in those bands, which there are...they are -eclipsed- by the core sound.
Dillinger are among the forefathers of math-core.
Converge have been called metal-core but they're way more furious than the standard.
Pig Destroyer...psychotic grind-core at its absolute zenith.
Three excellent bands from a genre I'm highly critical of.
Now Playing: Behemoth - "Conquer All"
