Hammerfest To Become An All Ages Show
Bullet For My Valentine has issued the following update regarding the age range of the 2009 Hammerfest:
"Due to popular demand, the Hammerfest Festival Licence has been altered in line with most other Festivals, so we are thrilled to announce that 16 and 17 year olds are now permitted to enjoy the fun at Hammerfest this April. What are you waiting for!?"

Kali-There's a Creed CD in my room, but I don't know where it's from...That must have taken a lot of courage to press the "post comment" button.
*hugs Kali back* Thanks for the support :)
Inferno-I know, it was hard to put it out there. Thanks for being understanding :)

I still like Creed lol. There's nothing I own that I'm ashamed of really I don't think... Best Of Whitesnake perhaps.
As far as the age thing goes, I think it's great this is an all ages show. I was thirteen when I went to my first concert and have continued to go since and the younger you go to shows, the quicker you'll ick up experience and what to do and not to do at shows.

I'm ashamed of buying a Type o negative album...because at the time I bought it I thought I was buying a diffent bands cd a friend reccomended to me and mistook the band name, and I thought they sucked when i first heard the cd.
Now, being the older, wiser me, What a f***in great accidental purchase THAT was!
But seriously, I havent realy bought anything I've been really embarrased to have. the last AILD album I bought on the basis that i thought they deserved a "Most Improved" award from me, and I was rolling in extra cash at the time. I bought an Atreyu cd once, before i knew real metal existed, and i was looking for anything with screaming in it because it made me giddy. coincidentally, it was, i hear, their best cd lol, so I at least got the best of the worst lol
I still listen to Blink 182 and I'm proud of it damnit! The other day, "Christgrinding Avenue" ended, and then(on shuffle) "Miss you" came on, and I could only laugh at the horrible transition of music lol

Way to have the stupid band announce this.
Anyways, I'm not certain of what to think of the idea yet, maybe it'll sink into me later. On the down side, if I were older it would be kind of annoying to have 16 and 17 year olds at the same gigs as me. On the up side, it would give the youth access to see great bands play as well as introduce them to bands they're not aware of yet.
