German metalcore/deathcore band Maroon has posted a cover of Samael's "Baphomet's Throne" from 1994 on their MySpace player. The song was recorded during the "The Cold Heart Of The Sun" sessions back in the summer of 2007.

Well I wouldn't call them straight edge hardcore. Deathcore/metalcore can veer quite a long way from straight hardcore. I reviewed one of Maroon's releases a while back, and it was one of my favorite metalcore albums at the time. I don't know the original Samael song for a comparison though.
