"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Wolf Guitarist Johannes Axeman Checks In

Wolf guitarist Johannes Axeman has posted the following message online:

"Hey all.

"Playing Metal Forces Fest (Nov. 29) was a blast! We'd like to thank the crowd/fans for a hellish good time and it was awesome to meet you all. People came from France, Switzerland, Holland etc, to see Wolf play and we're very grateful to have shared both our music and the bar with you all. Also thanks to Daniele and crew for everything practical and for beeing great friends. And, yes, Primordial kicked ass! Thanx for the tee's guys!

"Touchdown in Sweden on Sunday only to get six hours of sleep to catch the next flight to Umeå, Sweden to record the video for the song 'Voodoo'. Owe Lingwall (director, drummer and host) got the band to a studio where we lashed out just like we always do. We also got some incredible voodoo kids in the video but the best part; we got to see singer/guitar player, Niklas, have cockroaches, giant spiders, snakes, blood and dirt all over him. Thats what you get for all the wicked things you've done. ha ha ha!

"Not ending there...we also had a photo session with Niklas at Nikdesign and he captured the true essence of Wolf; hard hitting in your face, working class goddamn Heavy Metal.

"Things are shaping up for the release of Ravenous on Feb 23rd, '09 and we're hard at work getting it done. There's more surprises about the album coming up soon. So, sharpen those fangs and wave that tail cause we're coming for YOU!"
