Mudvayne has continued to disappoint with each album after LD50. I just don't understand how you can lose the formula to a brilliant album and then come out with this crap. Every song since The End of All Things to Come sounds the f***ing same. There's no sneaky time signatures, and all the songs are "verse-chorus-verse" now, which LD50 didn't have--thus helping set it apart from all the other sh** that's been released. I hate to say it, but I think Slipknot fell into the same trap, and now they sound like "cookie-cutter" nu-metal. I hang my head with disappointment

I actually think they both abandoned nu-metal too much (solos?). I mean, I've always defended Slipknot's verge into death-nu-metal only because I feel death metal dealt with better topics. But Mudvayne has clearly taken the rock 'n' roll route. My point being neither have nu-metal aspects anymore which is too bad because nu-metal had potential. Nu-metal only gets a bad rap because of sh!t bands that began with nu-metal influence and deviated to pop-rock (Disturbed).
Apologies if that makes no sense....

Just listened to a little bit of each song. Nothin great. "We the People" is pretty good.
Didn't listen to 'Dull Boy, Do What You Do, or King of Pain', heard those before and don't really like them.
