The Famine Posts New Video For "Consume, Devour, Repeat" Online
The Famine's new music video for their song "Consume, Devour, Repeat" is up now on MTV's Headbangers Blog (also viewable below). The song is off their album "The Raven and The Reaping," which is in stores and online now.
Here’s what The Famine vocalist Michael Christian McCaddon has to say about the new video:
"The lyrics of 'Consume, Devour, Repeat' deal with corrupt leaders. We wanted to shy way from political bludgeonings or overt partisanship, so we employed the metaphor of an underworld king-type character who ultimately meets his untimely end. In a sense, the story line of the video serves as a microcosm of the world view presented in the song. The video was shot in an abandoned brewery in Cincinnati, Ohio by the illustrious Andy Reale."

Actually I got interruted and forgot part of what I wanted to say. It actually reminds me a bit of Killswitch Engage and Divine Heresy (but with less melodic parts and singing) mixed with Chimaira. The mid paced, mid-range repeating riff and the speed up reminds me a lot of Chimaira.
