Amon Amarth Confirmed For Wacken Open Air 2009

Amon Amarth are the latest band to be confirmed for Germany's legendary Wacken Open Air festival next year. The festival will enter it's 20th year in 2009 and will be headlined by Machine Head.

The bands confirmed thus far are:

Amon Amarth
Cathedral
Einherjer
In Extremo
Machine Head

I'd love to go to Wacken for the experience of it all. I've only ever been to one big outdoor show here, and it was great, except most of the bands sucked. I think Spineshank and Index Case (a local band) were my highlights of it, and they weren't even any of the main stage bands....
