"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Alaskan metal heavyweights 36 CRAZYFISTS have posted an entire show from their current tour online. The set was filmed at The Lost Horizon in Syracuse NY and can be viewed at The UVTV website.

The concert is also available on iTunes.

36 CRAZYFISTS will film its January 9, 2009 concert in Anchorage, Alaska for a forthcoming DVD. According to Lindow, "the show will be monstrous as the ones in the past have proved to be what dreams are made of. But as the years have gone on, you can imagine the amount of ridiculous footage we have from backstage antics to being a 18-year-old skinny, punk-ass kid getting my long hair chopped off by [Steve] Holt [guitar] in a drunken stupor; it's things like this that will be hilarious to sift through and add to our special features section of the DVD."

36 CRAZYFISTS sold 4,150 copies of "The Tide and its Takers" in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 155 on The Billboard 200 chart.

"The Tide and Its Takers" was released on May 27 via Ferret Music. The CD artwork was designed by Sons of Nero, who has previously worked with such bands as IN FLAMES, EVERY TIME I DIE, FULL BLOWN CHAOS and THE HUMAN ABSTRACT.

This DVD sounds perfect for fast-forwarding all the way to the end, putting it back in the case, and taking it to a record store where you can trade it in.

Once there was a DVD that everyone bought but no one watched. Save for one brainless stack of DNA who, upon viewing of said DVD discovered that life was now hollow and meaningless. To go back to the record store, where the possibility of return was apparent, some of us traded for store credit, others simply for honor.
