Six Feet Under Announces New Album, "Death Rituals," Tracklisting
Tampa, FL’s SIX FEET UNDER are set to release their 8th full-length studio album titled "Death Rituals" November 11th, 2008. "Death Rituals" was recorded at Morrisound Studios in Tampa, FL with Chris Carroll at the helm and mixing duties being handled by Toby Wright and the return of Bill Metoyer, who recorded the bands CD "Warpath," helping out with recording of the drums.

It's not really like Cannibal Corpse at all. they are mostly old school death metal and they are at the top of this. Cannibal are mostly a fast and technical death metal, not really the same. I don't think that any one of them is in another one's shadow.
And me too I don't really get tired of SFU, I like the old school sound

Six Feet Under - should be retitled Sic Feet Under -
They play an infectious brand of groove metal...that just sounds bada$$. The guitar riffs really get my blood pumping..and Chris Barnes has the ultimate voice for metal. It has an old skool vibe made modern. They just continue to put out great albums! I tried to listen to CC with Corpsegrinder but it just does not compare to SFU, in my opinion. SFU has a better groove to it...I guess.
