Kittie Returns To Tour Europe After Six Years

Canadian all-female metal band Kittie will return to Europe this fall for its first tour in six years.
“I am really anxious to get back so we can meet all the people who have stayed true to us, re-introduce the band, and show everyone what we have been up to these past years,” said frontwoman Morgan Lander. “The European audiences are always so enthusiastic and dedicated to the bands they love. Many people have been waiting for what seems like a lifetime for us to return, and I know they will be great audiences and we will not disappoint!”
Kittie was part of the one and only European Ozzfest tour in Europe in 2002 and played the major metal festivals, but the band’s return will be the group’s first headlining excursion in Europe. Magnacult will provide direct support in Europe (excluding Paris), and Losing Sun and Symphony Cult will support the band in the UK.
“We are all ridiculously excited to be returning to Europe,” Lander said. “The fans have waited long enough. This is just the beginning!”
Kittie’s latest album, “Funeral for Yesterday,” is available on import in Europe.

Their drummer is poor, and they're an average band, but they're not playin any big arena's just clubs, background music for the alternative scene. I don't listen to them bt i know they aren't as bad as most sh**ty bands that clubs get in these days. The oinly other band that's comin that's anyway good is Soilwork. And besides wat does licking canine vaginas have to do with musical talent?

Hey FAN - is Pig Destroyer pretty cool?
If I said yes, that would be the understatement of the year for me. Occasionally I will claim one or another band is my favorite, but then I just download some more Pig Destroyer, and, well...lol
The easiest songs to digest if youre just getting into grindcore would probably be "Machette Twins" and "Loathsome", The former is actually one of their slower songs, and it has a nice groove to it. But if you want Grindcore at it's craziest, where it's most comfortable, go for "Crawl In Time" or "Thought Crime Spree", songs so blazingly fast it hurts sometimes.
If you don't like them though, no prob, it's weird music to get used to for most people, so I don't blame anyone if it's not their cup o'tea, even though I think it's genius. :p
