Rob Zombie Reveals White Zombie Box Set Details

Rob Zombie has posted the following update regarding the forthcoming White Zombie box set:

"Well, I am now holding the finished newly master WHITE ZOMBIE box set in my hands. Yes, it is done! A long time coming but it is here.

"I'm not sure what the release day is yet, but it shouldn't be much longer. I'm pretty sure you'll be getting under your Christmas tree.

"All I can say is boy the early shit is wacked. I haven't heard some of these songs in over twenty years. I don't know what the hell we were thinking.

"Everything is including on this set. Over 4 and 1/2 hours of music plus tons of never before seen videos. 5 discs in all."

I'd love to see a white zombie reunion, but I'm satisfied with what they've done. I don't want them to reunite only to raise everyone's expectations, then release some f***in' stinkburger and thereby tainting my worship of them. La Sexorcisto will stand in time as one of the greatest guitar albums ever. Since that album came out, I've been quite hard-pressed to find any album by any other band that sounds anything like it.

But then again, the new smashing pumpkins wasn't all that bad, imo.

Rob and Sean were actually broken up for the majority of White Zombie's fame. They did date, though. If White Zombie dares to reunite without Rob, I don't even know what else to say...I'd be totally crestfallen to see one of my all time favorite bands go down the Alice in Chains route just because they haven't been able to keep up the income, they need to resurrect the one cash cow they had.

Hopefully that's just a rumor.
