Who cares how great they are live....so is blue man group.....anybody can jump around and be entertaing to crap.....Apocalyptcia have been makeing the same great music since the very first album.....slipknots got 5 albums 2 were good....the rest of that crap souldn't even be called slipknot....more like shinedown to me. Apocalyptica are way batter band, musicians, and people(cory taylor is a ***). Definite Upgrade!

Hey Maggot For Life:
I saw Slipknot two months ago and they were the worst live show i've ever seen. I saw Apocaliptica back in May and they were awesome. So, to answer your questions: Yes they shred (all four cellos). Yes their drummer is awesome and more consistent than Jordy was when I saw him. And yes they were more metal than Slipknot. Slipknot is merely a cheap immatation of Mushroomhead. Corey could learn a lot from Jeffrey Nothing (like how to sing without blowing out his voice), and Mick and Jim could learn a lot from Gravy (like how to put on a show instead of just standing there behind their instruments).

I actually did buy a cello yesterday, so now I am more metal than Slipknot too. Face it Maggot, your heros have fallen. They aren't what they used to be and they will never get it back. They're crap now. I will give props to Jordison because he is a badass, but even he's not into the new stuff. You can tell by the way he just sort of goes through the motions live now. This is definately an upgrade for this tour. The only thing that made the show I saw worth the ticket price was Machine F^(king Head!!!! \m/\m/!!!

OK, this is to post 35.......... First of all. i dont agree with maggot! But that doesnt change the fact that slipknot is still metal! Metal, Nu metal, old metal, death metal.........its all metal!!!!! So knock your own teeth out or just shut up unless you know what you are talking about! Slipknot, though i am not a big fan of them, is still METAL!

By the way maggot: it's spelled cello (not chello). I guess they don't sell dictionaries at Hot Topic. Hang in there kid. Give it a couple of years and broaden your horizons a bit. There is a lot of other good metal bands out there. You can still be a "maggot for life", but i'm sure that in time you will find greater, more talented heros to worship. Keep it heavy little man.
