POST 17: Te llamas Cesar: Me gusta tu nombre mucho! As for me, I don't like my real name very much, I don't know why, it's just weird. At least you like spicy stuff, I'm a p***y cat! Oh, and you n me kinda have the same thing going on...I also have the ability to speak spanish but ONLY when I HAVE to...(pretty fake/horrible sh** too lol) By the way, ur words on POST 4 were FUNNY AS HELL! Baw-ha-ha-ha!!!! Wait, R U actually Hispanic like me???
POST 14: Good luck at ur Spanish 2 classes at school this year! I'm sure you'll pass! Funny story, but I'm actually taking German 1 this year when I get back to school lol.

Amparo?....Very Unique! I've never heard that name before. It's good to have a name that not many people have. Am I hispanic? Of course i'm Hispanic! Both of my parents are full blooded Mexicans. I was born in East L.A. in 89'. Ummm...how can I prove that i'm Hispanic without speaking horrible Spanish?...ask me questions...
P.S. Those words on Post #4 make no sense whatsoever....lol!!
It clearly proves that my Spanish sukks...

Made sense ta me lol...yeah, my name is a SPANISH name brother...and on top of it all it's just WEIRD and not very common: that's kinda why I don't like it that much but oh well. Oh, and don't worry, I believer ur Hispanic I don't need to ask U questions^_^ Oh, although there is one: Cuando es tu Cumpleanos? (forgive me if my spanish spelling sucks)

Just so I won't embarrass myself Jenny...I will answer your question in English...lol..
I was born on November 19, 1989. How about you?... Oh 1 more question! I'm curious...why is your display name "Jenny"?...any specific reason?
metalheaddrummer101 - Dude...you have a better chance of passing spanish than I do. I took spanish in 9th grade and I left the first day because It was not what I expected. Therefore, I took French 1 & 2. I Passed both with flying colors...oui,uoi

I am not the greatest matamatician either. In truth out in the real world, all one really needs is the ability to do basic math, unless your carrer requires any science or engenering. Basic math includes; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division (both long and short,) and percentages for taxes and such. Other than that regardless of what your teacher's say you very rarely use algebra and such.

^T_O_G: I don't know Mike, I just think it's weird. Plus, everytime I introduce myself with my real name in person, I have to keep repeating myself n practically give a little mini-lesson on how to say my name properly, after all it is a spanish name. Hey, Mike isn't bad, I like it! :)
POST 24 for RIFF_MASTER: I'm f***in' young! I was born May 3, 1992 (5/3/92) lol OH, n I use the name "Jenny b-cuz it's just a lot easier...I don't know where I got the name, I just like it.

I can actually understand a f***load of spanish, but i need a minute to think of what it means, so i just skipped over like half your guys conversations.
I failed Spanish 2, but only because I never came to class lol
62. writes:
I guess I'll jump into this conversation! I don't speak spanish, at all. But then I'm german so that probably makes sense. I think I might be english too, due to my dad and my last name of Bradford, but I can't really be sure considering many families adopted/stole new last names when they came to America. And that's quite likely considering my dad's side are all cowards, haha. But my first two names are Jason Alexander. Jason after the Greek hero and Alexander after Alexander the Great.

Jenny - I recently left high school and enrolled at an occupational center in Downtown L.A.
It's a school that trains you for various jobs and work fields.
There's a great atmosphere here so I'll stay here for a while.
As for name meanings....i'm not really sure what my name means. Anyone know?
66. writes:
That sounds awesome Riff! I hope I'll be able to get good training for whatever I decide to do for the rest of my life. I have no idea what ur name means (sorry) but I bet Kalis can find a way to figure it out...
DeathInEye: Ur German! That's cool...I'm takin' German 1 when I get back to school ( I've said that so many times lol)
Metalheaddrummer101: Hells Yeah Man!!! 11th grade, ya 8th viking dude! Spanish should be good for you. It's pretty cool to know how to communicate using different languages: that n colleges love to kick our a$$es ^_^
Kalis: U have a great meaning to ur name, it's so cool n ur name is so pretty* By the way, when's ur Birthday?

69. writes:
Thank you Jenny. I am an October baby, born October, 10th, 1984 and born in Reno, Nevada. A great year to brew a Satanic metaller. >:)
Riff, your name Ceasar means "To stop" in Spanish. That can be "To stop" many things. If I had all the info needed to draw an astro chart up can tell you exactly what that is. I would only need your full date of birth, location (i.e Reno, Nv,) your time of birth.

There are lots of females that are into metal, but they probably don't show it much ( at least I think so, but maybe I'm wrong) I already knew you were a guy! I don't know how I just did.
As for true love for metal, I have no exact definition. People out there are so intelligent: they know all sorts of bands that no one has ever heard of, they have many albums and if they're lucky they go to many gigs. I have none of the qualities above...I must admit it makes me feel low. I wish I knew more about "metal." But I will say this: whatever I hear I love: it just burns deep inside...*sigh* I may not be well informed like all other true metallers, but if lovin a guitar that takes me far away doesn't make me a lover of metal I can't think of anything else for myself!
^^Sorry for pourin' my heart at random like that...I just had to say it^_^ You guys R amazing!

One of the bands there I think you would like actually Kali, called "At Odds With God". Check them out on myspace they sound like Dimmu to me, but not so fast-tempoed. And they have a chick singer who does like Death Metal vocals better than most guys I've heard. I took a picture with her and it'll be on myspace in a few days probably.
Oh, and I left a big-heated f***-you type post on the otep thread lol don't take it personally I'm just seriously passionate about politics lately.

I used to headbang every day, I don't know why I don't as much but I need to get back into that. For the record, I think it's absolutely kick a$$ that headbanging by definition is a type of dance. I knew that my whole life but people out there don't believe it :)
One time I was checkin' out pictures of people headbanging at school and the librarians were watching me. It was a really cool picture because the guy's hair looked amazing in the photo!!! By the time I printed it out, they asked me if the furry brown stuff on his head was an animal or a hat! I was like, "It's his hair..." *LOL*
281. writes:
Well, keep in mind that head banging everyday does not mean you are more of a metaller. I anymore listen to metal and alot of it I just sit back, relax and absorb. Sometimes I dance to it. Its all about the heart. If its what you love then that is what counts, not how many hours you head bang.

as for travelling.... Ive been in 43 of the 50 states and a little ways into Mexico.... never travelled in a plane anywhere.... Germany sounds cool... but if I do go anywhere in a plane.... its most defiantly gonna be Amsterdam ;-)-~ ~

no I didnt get it.., the idea for my new tattoo came from that movie.... theres a scene where ya hear Pennywise the clown saying something like...."we all float down here" ....and a single red balloon on a string comes floating out of the sewer drain.....
so anyway...
my new tattoo, is a red balloon on a string that looks like its coming out of my naval and then it goes up towards my chest like its floating...!! it kicks so much a$$... I love it...!! an its one of a kind I should think..??? Mine is kind of an inny, so it worked really well to have that line for the balloon string go in there pretty far, the skin inside the belly button is really sensitive....DAMN..!!
387. writes:
Hey Godlike! Since you have plenty of tattoos...Can you give me some advice on what my first tattoo should be?...I'm planning to get inked up and I don't want to make a bad decision.
I've been reading a lot of Tattoo magazines like "Tattoo","Flash", and "Savage" to try to get some info. I'm trying to get a feel of the tattoo experience.
390. writes:
Riff-Master - I take it your a Raiders fan....???? well, Im a huge KC Chiefs fan so Im not sure if we can associate or not....??? Just kidding......ya seem like your OK in my book...!!
So how long ya been playing guitars,...and what kind of guitars/amps do you own...???
Now thats outta the way... let me first say.... dont assume that your only going to get 1 tattoo.... cause the damn things are addicting and you'll end up with more than one.... ( my sleeve started out with one at the top of the shoulder that was gonna be my only one... HAhaha.. within a week I was back in getting more added to it..!! )
I've had a subscritption to Flash for the last 10 years....its a great mag..full of lots of tattoos.!!
....whatever you get...make sure you're gonna like it... FOREVER..!! I guess I would suggest something thats different than others already have.... ya know how many barb wire arm bands and black panther tattoos there are out there..???? TOO MANY...!!!!
Second... no matter how painful you may think it is, once they get started... keep in mind that it only hurts while its being done.... no pain after...!!! I thought it hurt worse to get my ears peirced... and hell, Ive had bee stings that are more painfull.!!!!
Third..... dont just walk into the tattoo shop and pick something off the wall.... go in there with a good idea of what you want.... look around for awhile... pick out something thats going to be a little more unique.... or something that fits you..!!! Dont get something that looks cool now... but 10 years from now..... ya start thinkin a different way...and then its too late..!!!
If its a decent establishment.... there should be a decent artist on hand to help you perhaps even change something off the wall into something unique....
Fourth and MOST important... make sure its a CLEAN and well established tattoo shop..!!!!
as Kalis_ says... do not drink beforehand..... although 99% of the tattoo shops out there will refuse to to tattoo someone that is drunk.. (because alcohol thins your blood )
It wont necessarily "ruin" the peice....but it will cloud your judgement..!! I prefer to eat some Vicadan before a long sitting..... but, some xanax will take the nervousness away too ;)
Kalis_.... Im assumming the "LOL" sounds neat" is your approval of a decent idea..??
I'll snap a pic. as soon as the hair starts growing back in around it, and after the peeling and healing is done..!!
392. writes:
Congrats on your new tattoo Godlike ! :)
Shredder: Be sure you know what your gonna get done on your body...removing a tattoo hurts like a motha fukka ! People have described the feeling as getting snapped with a rubber band several times nonstop :( How soon do you think it will be before getting ink done on you?
I used to want a tattoo but now I'm not so sure....my brother has four of 'em and they look nice.
I watched this one show called "Ancient Ink" and it was talking about different methods, the origins of what tattoos represent, and prison ink. Pretty interesting stuff...inmates are definitely creative about their ink jobs but they're pretty stupid on what limits they go to to get it done and they end up getting infected...
Say, do any of you have an interesting story that connects to your tattoo(s) ?
394. writes:
mhd101 - as I mentioned in my last post... my first tattoo was really small and located at the top of my shoulder so it couldnt be seen while wearing a t-shirt... a week later I went back to have more added to it...and now its a full sleeve...!!
Getting a tattoo is something that should never be rushed into... I was 26 before I got my first one... and by the time I decided on the whole sleeve I was 33... at that age, I knew that whatever tattoos I have wouldnt interfere with any line of work that I get into.... my modeling career was over a long time ago ;-)
Jenny - Ive seen that show "Ancient Ink"...the history an all is really quite interesting...
There are ALOT of cool tattoos out there.... although there are ALOT of them that I would never have on my own body... but the design and artwork is remarkable... At the same time... there are ALOT of really bad tattoos...either bad designs or just plain bad work in general.....
Beleive me Ive seen ALOT of bad tattoos.... anything from pot leaves on a forearm, to names that were spelled wrong or the lettering was different styles or sizes... I met a guy, a long time ago, that has an upside down cross tattooed on his chest.... like a HUGE upside down cross..not the size of a cross on a necklace....this thing stretched from his neck down to his abdomen...and damn near as wide as his nipples..... excellent artwork.... but a really bad idea....as far as Im concerned anyway..!!
Hello Kalis_.... hope all is well for you an the ol man..!?!
396. writes:
Kalis_ uhmm...nothing wrong with it at all.... but this thing was huge and the guy was only about 19...I personally thought it was idiotic for such a young guy...and such a HUGE tattoo...!!
I am as good as can be expected.... doing what I can with what I have..!!
397. writes:
Ah... that does make sence now. I was 22 when mine was done, and by that age all is pretty well set in stone, atleast for me. You men are lucky to be able to tatt your chest and belly. Us women should NEVER do that! In fact I tend to think a woman that does is an idiot! Bum tatts for women should also be avoided! If her thighs are not huge like mine tattoing looks great!
398. writes:
I dunno, I think if a women gets ink done it can be ALMOST anywhere as long as it doesn't stick out like a red box in a white room! Examples of good spots for a female tat is the ankle, wrist, and lower back. (Feel free to add on, just not the shoulder, and I totally agree with women should never get them done on their tummies or bums ) I always thought getting one on your lower back was appropriate, but I've heard people call that a "tramp stamp". I don't get it.
400. writes:
Indeed the Celtic cross and knots are very cool... but, before doing such a design.. make damn sure that the artist is talented enough to do a decent job... Most of those designs have some intricate details and lines that have to be precise..... they can easily be screwed up by an inexperienced tattoo artist..... believe me... Ive seen some bad ones...!!
Jenny - another good spot for women is the lower leg, outside of the calf area or above the ankle..
and then there is the ol tramp stamp.... not sure where that phrase originated but Ive seen ALOT of them... some good.... and some that are very bad...!!
402. writes:
"well of course there are some bad tatoo artists..." Yeah waaayyy too many.!!!!!
The peice on my left arm... Is a mythical/fantasy style dragon surrounded by a group of planets and moons... yeah, its a cool peice... but not exactly what I set out to put on that arm...!!
Underneath the aforementioned dragon, planets and moons.... is three tattoos which were done by a couple of idiot tattoo artists.... ones who said they could handle doing a tattoo from a drawing that a friend had done for me.... well it looked like absolute sh^t..... so then I waited months for it to heal and then spent a year and $800 covering up $500 worth of sh^tty tattoos...!!
moral of the story.... do the homework.... make sure the person is a good artist as well as being a good tattoo artist.... any fool can put the outline on and color in the picture... but it takes an actual artist to know the proper techniques of shading and color placement..!!
Its much better to pay more for a good tattoo artist...than to have some idiot do it for half the price in his or your living room or someones kitchen etc.....

Kalis - I will surely think about what I will get. Of course I will never get a tattoo while drunk...lol...you have to be fully concious
Jenny - I'm not %100 sure on what I want to get but, I'm thinking of getting my current guitar tattooed. I worked really hard to get that guitar and it has gave me a musical experience like no other. It's my first and only axe and It hasn't showed any sign of disfunction throughout the last 2 years. I'll take a few months to think of ideas to add to the guitar piece. It can't just be plain, you know what I mean?..
MHD - A celtic cross looks amazing in many different ways. I've seen a few on people and they look great!

Riff-Master - If I may offer some advice...?? The guitar you speak of ( GRX20) is a decent axe when starting out... but please dont get a tattoo of it...!! You'll have much better guitars in years to come... Better quality and much more worthy of becoming a lifelong tattoo.... ( in all honesty I dont even know your age..??)
If going with a guitar as the basis for a tattoo.... at least use something that is worthy of a tattoo..
if your an Ibanez fan.... use a Jem, RG550 or a PGM...?? Unless of course, Ibanez offers you a lucrative endorsement and pays for the tattoo..????
If not a particular model of Ibanez... than make it something that resembles an electric guitar but not really showing a particular brand...!!!
I mean no offense OK..??? But sometime down the road... if you have a tattoo of a guitar that only costs $200..... and later on your playing one that cost $1000...its gonna look kinda goofy..!!
set your sights a little higher..!!
Ive been playing guitars for about 30 years.....Ive played about every brand thats out there and I feel that Im fairly knowledgable when it has to do with guitars..... but even I have no tattoos of guitars on me..... Nor do I have a KC Chiefs tattoo on me..... If not getting paid to endorse a team or a product... why put it on your body permanatly..??

Morning to all!
I dis-agree with you on Riffs possible guitiar tatt Godlike. I think that Riff is wanting to get it done for centamental reasons and that to me is great. Yeah, he may get better axes down the line, but to him that one was/is special to him. I do agree on the Harold thing though 100%!

Godlike - I'm 2 months away from turning 19. Also, I'm not %100 sure on getting my Ibanez tattoed on me. I'll have to think a lot about it. Although I think it has qualified higher than anything else I think I should get. By the way, That's quite a massive collection of axes you've got there. I haven't been planning on purchasing any new axes lately. Surely, in the future I would like to own a collection of guitars like your own.

(As of this moment) Good evening everyone! :)
Godlike: *Jenny bows down* :) you have an amazing guitar collection! I'm just curious, how old were you when you started playing guitar?
Shredder: I honestly don't know any serious advice to give you, but I'm sure you'll find the tattoo you want :) Wish I had serious plans on getting one!
Kalis: Sounds like a suckie day of work...:( Adults always tell me that they would give anything to go back to school. I guess I'll never know the truth until I'm a hard-working adult, but I would rather have a bad day at work and get payed for what I do, than worrying about a bunch of daily assignments, projects and tests for a flippin' flappin' grade! :)
Metalheaddrummer101: I LOVE the Celtic cross idea! Btw. You and me both are upset today...my turn to whine: *Jenny clears her throat* SCHOOL WILL NOT END FOR THE NEXT NINE MONTHS!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
428. writes:
That Jen, is why I said "almost." Do keep in mind though, that your grades will make or break you in the future. You might not be getting paid now, but if you get decent grades your future pay check will look a lot better with a's b's and even c's, than d's and f's on your report card.

I understand that kalis, really I do... I am very well aware that school is very important. I know that first hand because my parents grew up poor and barely got an education. They always encourage me to do well in school so that my options are open when I'm older. And believe me, it may not sound like it but I take that in to serious consideration. What I'm referring to when I say certain things about school is that adults always say they would go BACK to school INSTEAD of working NOW. I have yet to understand that, but I will always remain open to that idea. (hope i don't eat those words later lol :) Overall I understand...but I might as well not hold any complaints back : I work my rear at school. Good thing I got parents that keep me in the right direction. :) I haven't experienced much of a 'life' yet, but my parents have stories and I love 'em for it! Lots of lessons in this grasshopper yes there is!!!
Well I'm off for today. I wish you, your love and your daughter a nice evening Kalis :)

Riff-Master - Well, my new friend the Raiders fan... Im glad you to, have an appreciation for my collection of toys..!! Thats good that you understand that Jen, not many kids now a days even have the slightest grasp of those concepts. Its not even that every grade HAS to be a a, or b either c's will get you by just fine. Even a g.d.e with decent scores works just as well. You may not be able to get into university right off, but you do have the option of community or vocational collage that can get you a half way decent paying job.

riff-master - yeah, i wouldnt get a guitar tattoo even if i was endorsed by that brand. the celtic cross sounds wicked cool. im sorry to hear you're a raiders fan lol, but im sure you're loyalty will pay off once the '70s come around again :P (read as: there's no hope for them)

Hopefully it will benefit me greatly later in life with my guitar/amp issues and many other electrical products. And, I'm also taking a "Forklift/Warehouse Operations" class. I too suck at math and probably the part that I hate the most about math is that there is nothing inspiring in it, nothing beautiful. you need to get to an answer and that's it, nothing else. the answer is f***ing 2. I dunno Kalis, it's an assignment my sister has for the British Literature class she has. The purpose of the letter is to honor a king while you through in personal information about yourself in the letter. What makes it Scandinavian is the way you speak. For example: "I ask you my fellow comrades to join me in battle!" or "I am daughter of land where the wind blows east and the mountains cry floods of shimmering waters summer." Maybe not exactly like that, but I'm sure you get the picture. This is off the top of my head but I'm not very good at it :)

Good man, that clears up the mind. I never really took drugs but I had a big let's get drunk moment and then the weirdest thing happened to me: I was in a bar, drunk again, and a voice asked me : is that really what you want in life. Is that how you pictured it ? Are you happy in your life ? No sh**, it's true. And then I looked at the people that were my friends (not true friends, party friends I realized), I looked at my beer that was half full, I went f*** no in my head, put my beer down and walked away and that was it for me man. I was a born again Christian and now i can say that I am truly happy in my life. But that was a really weird experience

RED : LOL for post 567...you got me there :) hehe!
That's quite the experience, it's cool that you actually stop and think that way. I don't do drugs but I know people who do pot. I don't like to interfere or judge people and I don't know a lot about pot so I don't care if people do it or not. As far as alcohol goes, I'm too young to drink so I don't. I won't mind having one bottle of something at the right age at the right place but I don't intend to ever get drunk. I like being a goodie two shoes^_^
That_One_Guy : About 30 gigs! Lucky. Good thing you stopped lighting up the pot though, I mean, to be honest I don't know a whole lot about it (I've never done it) but if there's a good reason for why you quit that's great.
Metalheaddremmer101: I think what Red said about being 'reborn Christian' again is his expression of saying he got going in the right direction by quitting something that could have ruined him, (correct me if I'm wrong Red)
574. writes:
yup...Jen: I have a doctor for a dad, so I get many reasons for not being a pothead! I agree on the staying clean thing, though. I have friends who could get nice equipment for their guitars/basses, but spend all their mony on pot. I can't really talk because I have a CD ediction, but whatever...
575. writes:
Jenny : No actually I really rediscovered my faith that time, literally...and I know that I got you on what you wrote to Godlike, it's pretty obvious.
metalhead : no offence man, actually you are right you don't need to be a born again Christian to stop drinking or do drugs, that's what it is for me but not necessarily for you. As long as you are happy and healthy, I'm with you...

Myself, I drink me a f***-ton when the oppurtunity presents itself. I'm pretty much the most sociable drunk you could ever meet, hands-down. I only drink when me and my friends decide to throw a party though, so until like 2 weeks a go, I hadn't had a sip of alk in about 4 or 5 months, so I wouldn't say it does anything to f*** with me or my life, it's just a social-barrier breaker for me, it really does nothing but good in my case, but power to all who don't drink at all, just as long as you're not one to take the "I'm so high and mighty" road on the issue, I can't stand those f***s. lol
pot...I quit that years ago, all it did was make me feel like sh**, but to each his own, i personally think my few stoner friends are hilarious (my friend Tim is so paranoid that if he finds a picture of himself on someone's myspace, he calls that person up and yells at them and harrasses them at home until they take it off).
Now Playing: Krisiun- Minotaur (awesome Brazilian death metal band, think Sepultura but more like conventional DM of today)
