i don't know...i mean...i like this band and their sound. Though i do admit they can be very repetitious - but then again - so is ACDC - when you listen to one of their cd's - you've heard all 20 of them and yet they praised for their CONSISTENCY - after 30 years they still sound the same.

What the heck do you want Coldiem, chasing me in all the threads and looking for a fight...they suck balls, I don't have to produce any work I have done to anybody to have the right to an opinion and it's ok you don't agree but you make yourself look like some kind of goody 2 shoes and I don't think you are better than any of us

Is "preachy" the word of the day or something? I guess I missed that somewhere. I'm not trying to be preachy, I just like giving people a taste of their own medicine. I guess my comment is spilling over from other Dragonforce threads which I have declined to comment in, so I apologize for that. It was an indirect statement, meant in general and not directed towards anyone in particular.
It's too bad that not too many around here understand my sarcasm, everyone thinks I'm just being a jerk all the time.

Nah, I wouldn't say you're being a jerk, it just sounds like you like to stick up for the "underdog" (I'm not sure if that's the right word to use here or not), which is alright.. but sometimes people just need to bash something without being criticized, I guess. I've got nothing against you, I'll put it that way.

Hahahahaha alrgiht I don't like Dragon force but you really hate them. Hahahahahahahaha. Btw Dragon Force, what kind of a super gay name is that ? Dragon Force ? I mean do they go like the power rangers and do hand gestures so they can change into rock stars ?

Originally they called themselves Dragonheart, but they had to change their name due to some other band having the same name.
I downloaded this album a few weeks ago. I'd say I like the sound better in this album than in Inhuman Rampage. The singer is still terrible, but he seems to have slighly improved... unless it's just the results of pro-tools...

Jesus Christ - I always thought one great thing about metal was no limits, no judgement on the extreme. i.e. I thought metalheads weren't the type of ignoramuses who judge a band by their name or how they dress or look. People like that can f*** right off back to their photoshopped popstars and trashy magazines.
No idea why everyone's attacking coldiem, I agree %100. Haha, Crawford funny as usual. I really dig DFs first full length, all guitar nonsense aside they write some great power metal.

I think I wanna pull a godlike, and get the thread to 1000 posts about how they suck!
"Through the Fire and Flames" was utterly gay sounding, the singer is trying to bring back a sh** genre of metal that should've been buried with the rest of the 80s (Don't get me wrong now, Thrash started in the 80s. But Thrash is actually good!).

I wouldn't b**** you out for liking Slipknot, Red. Their newest album should do that for me. ;)
j/k. I know not a lot of people like DragonForce. I like them because I was raised on metal, and it's a fresh take on it, no matter whether you like it or not. I get that they sound repetetive after three or four songs, but my brother-in-law growing up was a huge ACDC fan, so I've forgot more about repetetive bands. I also had a brief stint as a Hatebreed fan until I heard Black Flag for the first time. Maybe a weekend spent with a few Helloween albums would set me straight. I just know that nobody that plays guitar like the guys in DragonForce is capable of boring me. And their drummer never quits! I understand though. It's a more complex sound than what a lot of people I know listen to.
Oh wait, what I meant to say is "U guyz r n00bz and u wouldn't kno good power metal if it sat on ur face."
There. Sorry.

Biggest load of regurgitated pro-tools non-sense I have ever heard. It's really really pathetic how they have the same exact song structure everywhere they go. Not to mention they sound like dog
s hit when they play live. Nothing but a polished studio band, like Ive always said.
