Best songs Metallica ever written since And Justice for all. lol. I am just glad King Diamond just became boring after all these years and not sellouts like Metallica. Glad to see King has gotten better.

Not trying to be a d***, but i'll probably get burned for saying so, since King Diamond guy has been around forever, but he reminds me of RocknRoll Clown from Metalocalypse. I DO COCAINE!

Whats sad is that only a few people knew who he was when he walked on stage. I loved the set but the people around me were complaining about it.

I knew it was not Mercyful Fate songs DUMBASS!!! It was the fact of it not being Metallica songs. Since they lost the ability to write anything decent themselves.

I have to believe that this was all done to boost up both of their reps. Metallica tries to get some respect from the underground metal fans..no pun intended and Diamond gets some exsposure to people like the couple posters up top who didn't know who he was.

Is there going to be a review of Ozzfest on this site?

To be fair, the Mercyful Fate medley was released ten years ago on the Garage Inc. album and they've been covered Mercyful Fate before and since so if they're gonna perform at an event where King Diamond will be there, the logical decision is to get him to sing with them.

Now playing: R.E.M. - Stand

Just proves there are still metal-poseurs everywhere. There were PLENTY of blank looks when he came out, like ppl hoping they would play Enter Sandman again and again.

And by the way, I just downloaded this show and even though I've bashed Metallica as much as anyone in the past 10 years they STILL put on a hell of a show... but Lars still sucks absolute a$$ and I will continue to hate him.
