What a bunch of idiots some of you are. As if all of Slipknot's songs suddenly suck now, because they made a small deal with 'Hot Topic'.
Just because they want to make money, and not be poor losers like some of you, doesn't make them bad people.
Obviously they came to an agreement with 'Hot Topic' while playing the Mayhem Fest, since Hot Topic is a sponsor of the tour. File your jealously laden comments under WHO CARES.

well iv never been to the accual store but iv looked online, and i think hot topic is pretty cool. and i love slipknot, so when i read this i freaked. only now i need a ride to the store. and just saying, i dont care what other people say, so bash me, insult me and i wont care.

I used 2 go there, but not anymore I just don't care,,,,Uh, a listening party???!!! Seriously, what the fukk. I "kind of" don't mind Slipknot, but this is pointless. There are sooooooooooooo many other bands that would be well worth the drive, although a "listening party" at a store is just flat out weird! No fun in there! Baw-ha-ha-ha.

It's amazing the amount of backlash that people have against Hot Topic. I can guaranty that every person who ever makes a comment about Hot Topic being lame and selling clothes to wannabe goth/emo kids was once a "goth" "emo" or numetal kid who is p***ed that they stopped selling Tripp pants.

Yeah, I remember. As I said b-4, I used to go there but not anymore...I don't know why. The store isn't what's bothering me though...what's odd to me is A LISTENING PARTY $ SLIPKNOT!!?? who's dumb @$$ came up with that? Seriously. "NO FUN IN THERE": no alcohol either.

That's pretty cool they're doing that. Geez why does everybody complain about Hot Topic, it's places like Hot Topic and bands like Slipknot that are helping spread the genre of music you guys love so much. Hot Topic always plays really sh**ty punk anyways, Slipknot is a way better choice of music.
