Karkadan Guitarist Departs, Replacement Tommy Strand Announced

German progressive death metal band KARKADAN's guitar player Philip has parted with the band because he's moving to Dubai. The band states: "We would like to thank our mate Philip for the great time and for all the fun we had. We wish you all the best for the future!"

A replacement has already been found: Tommy Strand (ex-Peccatum, ex-54, ex-Aphelion, ex-Mandylion) has studied electric guitar in Norway and has joined the band as permanent member.

Meanwhile Johannes Gronover has confirmed that he will stay in the band so the drummer position is not vacant anymore.

The band will now concenctrate on songwriting.
